Review of Menace II Society (1993) by Alicia B — 18 Oct 2009

I really enjoyed this movie. I felt that the plot line was very well thought out, and there was definately more than enough action to help carry any aspects that were lacking (in terms of the plot). I was left with mixed feelings about the lead character, because I really couldn't identify with him; but I think that that really helped the movie, because only somebody who has come from a similar background could have fully indentified with the difficulties that he was faced with.

Overall, I thought that it was very well thought out, beautifully acted, and so powerful to watch, that it really made me aware of the struggles that some people have to go throuhg in order to live.
