Review of Menace II Society (1993) by Andrew K — 26 Oct 2009
Intense film that examines the grittiness and realness of growing up in the hood and how hard it is to really break free of that life style, its a good film because its not cheesy and the typical man out for vengence type plot, it really shows how these people who otherwise in any other place would be completely normal and night fighitng for their lives have to fight, survive and escape the hood somehow for them to even live somewhat normally, this film did open my eyes to this culture probably more then dead presidents did, I love both films but would probably own this one over dead presidents.
