Review of Menace II Society (1993) by Fallon H — 06 Jan 2012
One of the most powerful films of the 1990s. Very few films tap into the consciousness of American culture and this film is one of them. Hugely underrated film which sadly gets stereotyped as a "black only" film and it is so not that.
The Hughes brothers might not be as great as I originally thought but this was by far their best work. Great plots and wonderful acting, especially by a young Jada Pinkett and Larenz Tate. Amazing film.
