Review of Men of Honor (2000) by Dean M — 11 Jan 2008
Cuba Gooding Jr. plays real-life hero Carl Brashear, first African-American in the U.S. Navy's elite diving corps, with Robert De Niro as a fictitious redneck instructor whose bigotry he must overcome.
Performances are excellent for Brashear's courages of his job from his instructor.
