Review of Men of Honor (2000) by Deadly Night S — 31 Dec 2008
Everyone loves an underdog story, and this is another great example. It is based on a true story, but even so sometimes manages to feel a little like white noise in the great sea of underdog stories. What saves it? Cuba Gooding, Jr.
The more I see of him the more I'm convinced he's a superb actor. He is the reason this movie deserves three stars, and I think one whole star is given on behalf of him alone.
