Review of Men in Black (1934) by Alec B — 18 May 2012
Decided to re-watch it in preparation for the 3rd one. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones have such natural chemistry with each other and their banter is absolutely hilarious. Their performances along with the cleverly written script make for some pure comedic gold.
It may not have a whole lot of depth, but it makes up for that with its almost childish zaniness and enthusiasm. The special effects also aren't as bad as I thought they would be because they would obviously be dated, but they surprisingly held up.
Also, the gadgets are still as cool as always and I always wanted to have some of them as a kid. It's a ton of fun!
