Jones and Smith are as cool as ever, Baker does a terrific job on the makeup as per usual, the main idea is very captivating, the action really good and the comedy top-notch. It's enjoyably wacky if a bit too preposterous (e.
G. how will they keep giant exploding flying saucers under wraps? erase everybody's - and their cameras' - memory? this being fantasy doesn't mean it should pay no attention to detail) and more importantly, when stripped off the sci-fi, standard action fare structurally.
