Review of Memphis Belle (1990) by Anthony S — 01 May 2004
There was a 'Weezer Day' on Channel V the other day, and I missed it. Oh well, I got my Weezer DVD, so I'm set. On Thursday night, my sister bribed me into going shopping with her, saying she'd buy it for me if I went. Well, after two hours of holding the change room curtain closed and standing around in shops and just having to be in a shopping centre that I dispise with every bone in my body, we got to the CD store. Turns out the didn't have any copies at the store.
Anyhoo, I got it on Saturday. It was a spur of the moment thing. My dad pulled the car over to get some money out of the ATM, and I saw a large CD/DVD selling place that my friends had told me to check as they would most likely have it. The lady told me she was sold out, and I was about to do some serious damage to the shop, but then she found the last copy. Dad paid, as I am offically broke. Except for 35 euro, which is about $50 australian. I really have to exchange that soon.
I think I don't have a job anymore either, which is actually really good. I was thinking of quitting, and now I dont have to. They knew when I was getting back from Italy, and they havent called to tell me I'm working yet, and I'm sure not calling them. I'm hoping they just forget me and I can move on.
I watched a few movies on the weekend, hence the ratings above. I watched a few more than that, but I think 5 is the limit. I watched majority of Maid in Manhatten, and another movie called Thought Crimes. Nothing special.
