Review of Memoirs of an Invisible Man (1992) by Randa M — 14 Mar 2007
I liked this movie. It was a more serious and dramatic side to Chevy Chase and completely took me by surprise. Like many I too expected to see a screwball Chase film but it turned out to be more of a modern cat and mouse noir film with some humor thrown in.
Sam Neill is wonderful as the villain and Chase plays the likeable every-man with whom you spend the movie on the edge of your seat rooting for. John Carpenter is my favorite director and this film was a daring and gutsy move on his part.
