Lavish exotic fashion parade that blinds you to whatever was happening in the movie. Love the set, beautiful at all times. Not sure if it was Zhiyi's acting or if she was just put next to the very powerful Gong Li making Zhiyi's act looks flat and foolish.
Oppressive presence from Gong Li, fantastic antagonist. Well, the movie just died for me after Gong Li's exit. The pace slowed down too much after her exit. ZzzZzz.
