I loved this movie! The story follows very closely to the novel's original plotline, and overall it gives a very beautiful glimpse into the complicated culture of the changing country of Japan during the early 20th century.
This is an amazing work of art as far as I am concerned, and the soundtrack by John Williams with Yo-Yo Ma isn't half bad either. <3.
