Aside all controversy regarding the casting and the recreation of the environment (yeah, I agree it was poor for the size of the production), I really liked the story, specially the conflicts between rival houses.
It was also interesting to know more about this subject, something not glamorous that is not widely known. Of course, it's not a movie for anyone who cannot digest the twisted morals presented from the beginning.
You need to filter a lot of stuff out yourself... =P.
