Review of Memoirs of a Geisha (2005) by Enrica C — 12 Mar 2012
The production values are absolutely phenomenal. The stellar set design, costumes, beautiful locations, and a sweeping musical score from Williams, all seem like a recipe for success, alas, they are bogged down by the movies formulaic, melodramatic, soap-opera style script, and the whole film just feels like it could have been so much more.
