Review of Memento (2000) by Oskar B — 26 Apr 2015
Memento is like a puzzle that you need to solve, just like the main character Leonard needs to do with all his clues and notes throughout the film. Ambitious and smart just like any other Nolan film just with a smaller budget.
The Cinematography is gloomy and serve as a factor to the dread the film naturally contains. Guy Pearce is very good in this role and all the actors also make a really fine job serving the whole film.
The original storytelling style makes the film really great and memorable. Draggs a little bit but not much else is a problem for me. Some unrealsitic scenarios maybe but hey, its a film and is otherwise extremely enjoyable.
The ending of this film is so uncomfortable which is neat.
