Review of Memento (2000) by Hiatt N — 19 Mar 2014
I think to consider if this film would be entertaining if it were in order is irrelevant: Memento's strength comes from its intelligence, and the most intelligent part is the fractured narrative. It's not the greatest movie ever (there are some serious flaws), but it's made with such enthusiasm and attention that I'm inclined not to care.
The burst of Nolan onto the big screen and still one of his best movies.
