Review of Memento (2000) by Aaron J — 25 May 2013
Amazing, I love this film more every time I watch it. This film is just mindblowing. Its about a man named Leonard (guy Pearce) who is trying to find his wife's killer. But the only problem is that since the night he and his wife were attacked he was left with Antergrade Amnesia, a form of memory loss that will only let him remember everything up to the night of the attack, and after about 15 minutes his mind reboots so he keeps notes on everybody he meets or come into contact with.
The notes include, polaroids, tattoos, and justslips of paper. There really isn't a review tto describe how chilling and mindblowing this film really is. The Nolan brothers are truly geniuses, Christopher wrote the screenplay and directed this ,was his brother Jonathan wrote the short story.
This film was nominated for 2 Academy Awards, Best Original Screenplay (Christopher and Jonathan Nolan) and Best Film Editing (Dody Dorn). This film is a MUST SEE. This film along with The Dark Knight, and The Prestige are the Nolan Brothers best films.
The Nolans are at the top of the game with this film though.
