Review of Memento (1968) by Sumit S — 07 Nov 2012
Memento is one of the best brainteasers or puzzle films to have come out in cinema history. The story of an amnesiac looking for revenge is narrated amazingly well by Christopher Nolan. Not only did he decide to reverse the chronological order of narration but tells the story in such a way that we never know anything more than the protagonist.
Just like the protagonist, we're patients & slowly uncover the truth. And as the movie uncovers its final layers, we are forced to question the prejudice opinions we had made in the beginning.
A stunning & unforgettable piece of work. an exercise for the mind, Memento is an unforgettable journey into the mind of a man with no memory. And in the end, you'll thank yourself for taking this ride.
