Review of Melody Time (1948) by Alan T — 11 Jan 2013
Movie Matt with Melody Time. The sort-of sequel to Make Mine Music, the film again is a "package" flick, made up of shorts of various lengths: music or a full-on storyline. What differentiates this film from Make Mine Music is because this film has more of a "Western" feel to it and it shows in the shorts with some exceptions.
There's also some live-action parts in the film unlike "Make Mine Music". I say that the film holds up and needs to be noticed more often (like it's sister film) so if you're a Western lover or a sucker for Disney in general, Melody Time is one to check out.
Movie Matt signing off.
