Review of Melinda and Melinda (2004) by Adam P — 26 Dec 2009
Both storylines are so slim and worthless that I found myself feeling grateful that there were two as opposed to one. And that's how the whole movie feels; like a film so weak two versions were filmed and neither could stand alone so they just included both.
The conceit is fine and rather interesting, it's just the dumb execution that is disappointing. Allen appears to have stopped being able to make good movies which is kinda sad and pathetic.
