Review of Melinda and Melinda (2004) by Santiago M — 27 Nov 2010
I can't believe how many viewers didn't find the film charming and often times downright funny. Woody Allen has crafted such a near romantic masterpiece here. The screenplay was so well written, thakfully to only a brand of humor that Woody Allen could pull off.
The interesting parts were where I was wondering which story I was watching which makes it all the more interesting because I get to notice the differences that each character goes through. Will Ferrell was especially good here playing a character that Woody Allen himself would have portrayed had he been 20 years younger.
Melinda and Melinda was enormously entertaining and had no real flaws at all. Everything in the film was flat out wonderful and I had probably had the most fun during this film than any other comedy of 2005.
Undoubtedly Will Ferrell's best achievement to date.
