Review of Melancholia (2011) by Thien-Kim Q — 15 Jun 2012
The introductory sequence is breathtakingly beautiful with a score to match. This film is definitely a work of art, art that I didnâ(TM)t necessarily understand at times, but art worth contemplation and appreciation.
Despite the ending being the first thing I see, I figure out a new detail every time I think about it. Melancholia and the images presented really sticks with you.
