Review of Melancholia (2011) by Mike H — 23 Aug 2012
Me watching a Lars von Trier movie: Make me watch a bad movie, shame on you, make me watch a slightly better one, meh shame on both of us. Melancholia could use a bit touching up on the drama and less on the depressants.
I wished I could of liked this movie more. The acting was great, but I wanted Alexander Skarsgard to be in it more. Trier makes artsy movies with no purpose.
