Review of Melancholia (2011) by Raj D — 27 Sep 2012
A slow meandering yarn only watchable with frequent use of the fast forward button. If you thought wedding speeches at your own wedding were dull, well here is 1 hour of it, with second hour of the war of the world's radio play.
Off beat characters abound, but behave in a dull, predictable way. 2 dimensional acting by the supporting cast. Lead actress was a stand out, but it all smelled of a theatre piece designed to show of a actors "range".
To me the only redeeming feature is that they cannot make a sequel.
