Review of Melancholia (2011) by Brian R — 20 Aug 2018
A filmmaking travesty from first frame to last, 'enfant terrible' Lars von Trier's latest effort to punish his audience and have them question his high stature as a preeminent filmaker. By the midway point you'll probably find the pattern on the carpet of the theater more interesting.
In the end you feel as though you are suffering from sensory deprivation.
