Review of Melancholia (2011) by Lilianetty L — 09 Feb 2013
Slow, slow and slow (no, it's not the Nightwish song). The first 8 minutes is a slow paced moment to reflexion and how it could end this depressive film...the rest? Watch it yourself, because there is only 3 options here: you end in depression, you vanish from Earth with that method I don't like or you will never see movies of this in your life and will look for action pack ones and happy ones too.
The plot is confusing at first, but when you get it's message, those 3 options are open for the people to choose. I choose to live (a 4th option I made up), never give up hope and say "GO ME!".
But even if the story is powerful psychologically talking, is slow paced and because of that...even the music score is fantastic but...it destroyed it. Maybe if it was more fast paced, maybe, just maybe.
..I would have given it one more star or the 5/5 it could have deserved in it's moment (2011). Today, February 9, 2013, I don't and won't give it that score because it was....destroyed and even if I wanted to call it a masterpiece.
..I won't. Enjoy and HASTA LA PROXIMA AMIGOS/AS! CHAO! BLESS YOU AND GOOD LUCK THIS 2013!
