Like all Von Trier films theres just so much going on here you could never accuse him of being unambitious! Mesmeric and enthralling you never know quite what it is you are watching but you definitely aren't bored trying to work it all out! I love the way his films don't just tie things up neatly but present many different ideas and themes to explore with no spoon fed answers.

Metaphors abound but can often be very contradictory leaving some viewers confused as to what this is 'about' This film just IS! Yes theres a million and one ways to read into it and that's part of its beauty.
