Review of Melancholia (2011) by Sergio Andres P — 12 Jun 2015
Totally one of the most beautiful and artistic pieces of cinema i've seen. Lars Von Trier made a divine piece of a portrait on depression, anxiety, pain and rawness. all connected by a melancholy truth bringing a beautiful, sad and apocalyptic end of the world.
Wonderful performances by Kirsten Dunst and Charlotte Gainsbourg ... who give us an introspective about the most sad thoughts and illogical acts, the connection with universe and the most intriguing secret that it have.
Great plot, acting, Cinematography and locations. Just fantastic film. 5/5.
