I thoroughly enjoyed seeing an advance screening today which was then followed up by a Q&A with the director and one of the producers. I like the way the story and the subject matter were treated in this film.
Not overly melodramatic or sappy like a Lifetime or Disney movie would have been. Just a realistic portrayal of the true-life story of this military hero, Megan Leavey and her military "partner" a K9 named Rex.
I like how it addresses the difficulties our military face.
