Review of Megan Is Missing (2011) by Ollie J — 03 May 2011
In a world where we have now become pretty much desensitised by horror movies and the more recent torture porn genre, it takes a film like Megan Is Missing to make you realise that evil can enter your kid's bedroom simply through a computer.
Every parent with young teenagers (& the teenagers themselves) need to see this movie. Well acted by the two main leads and based on true life events the movie is uncompromising, incredibly hard hitting and completely shakes you to the core.
This is going to stay with me for a long time to come. The final 22 minutes of the film are horrific but also serve a purpose. How you interpret it is up to you. Trust me, you'll be monitoring your kid's online use a lot more carefully from now on.
