Review of Megamind (2010) by Nichole M — 17 Jul 2012
MegaMind is basically an attention whore, I think the most insatiable character was the Tighten/Hal, Metro Man is a show off, and Roxanne seems like the only adult in the movie. When you thought about it, MegaMind and Metro man were very childish throughout the animation and were in constant competition from the time they were infants, though their rivalry was pretty funny.
What I didn't like about the ending was that MegaMind doesn't get the girl the way he wanted her. He loved her and when the movie was ending it portrayed them as as just friends which can only mean that it was his physical appearance was the reason which I think was wrong and I don't know if children or anyone else will pick up on that but if they do it's not a good lesson.
. But that's just my personal interpretation, other than that it was a pretty good movie.
