Outrageously funny, Megamind is a smart and inspired spoofing of the superhero genre. After defeating his archnemesis, supervillain Megamind goes through an existential crisis and seeks to give his life meaning again by creating a new superhero to do battle with.

Featuring the voice talents of Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Jonah Hill, Brad Pitt, and David Cross, the cast is quite impressive, and they deliver great performances that give the characters personality. The animation is also remarkably well-done, with rich designs and vivid colors.

And the soundtrack, which includes songs from AC/DC, Guns 'N Roses, and Ozzy Osbourne, is extraordinary, and gives the film a lot of energy that complements the action sequences perfectly. A brilliantly crafted film, Megamind delivers a ton of laughs.
