Review of Meet the Robinsons (2007) by Corinna O — 08 Dec 2014
During the weekend, I had a feeling that I wanted to see kids films especially disney kids films. I didn't want to watch frozen because that film is overrated even though I did like it when it first came out. It was after that film surpassed the lion king that I thought 'now this is war' and started hating on that let it go of a film disaster. And also the fact that I went to the sing along with kids that has made me tramitised for life. I also wanted to watch the incredible a but remembered that I didn't bring the dvd with me to university so I looked at the disney sky collection and saw a film 'meet the Robinsons' that I hadn't seen since it had come out.
I was a bit worried about watching this film again because I haven't seen it in a long time. This film is as incredible as the first time I saw it. The jokes still hold up seven years later and I was suprised to know that I had remembered every single quote off by heart. This is the most underrated disney film out there. It isn't a classic but it should be. It tells the story in a way that it gets it point across without feeling too rushed and even though I can predict everything that happens, I still get the same feels as if I am watching it for the first time.
This film also has a great message that says no matter how bad things get in life, you need to forget about it and keep moving forward. This is a film that I would always keep going back to and never forget.
PS I love the frogs and the dinasour especially when the dinasour says 'I have a big head and little arms'. It gets me every time.
