Review of Meet Me in St. Louis (1944) by Cristina H — 09 Jun 2009
Watching those movies makes me feel very nostalgic. It takes you back to those simpler times when life was black and white and when the greatest problems girls had were those of which boy to choose. It is absolutely adorable to watch, but it also heavily contrasts with today's movies.
And if the last film you watched before seeing this one was Terminator Salvation (just as I did) then you're bound to see Meet Me in St. Louis as a bit naive in its story and characters. Anyways, it is a nice change from all the cruelty and deceit so typical of today's movies.
