I will admit that I was a bit disappointed upon my first viewing of this film. I'd wanted to see it my whole life. When I finally did, it wasn't the masterpiece I'd expected. It was still really freaking good, though.
Four stars is not a bad rating, by any means. Great music, great cast, great fun. Judy Garland gives a great performance as a young woman smitten with the boy next door.
