Review of Meet Me in St. Louis (1944) by Calvin C — 11 Mar 2012
Probably Garland's best, musically and a very lush and beautifully directed film by her future husband. The songs are memorable ("Meet Me In St. Louis", The Trolly Song", Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas") and the story is classic MGM for its time.
Grade: A.
