Review of Meet Me in St. Louis (1944) by John H — 02 Nov 2009
I really love the Victorian era of America and the style that this movie really captures. Based on a series of short novellas, this was made into a musical that was beautiful. Judy Garland is wonderful in this roll, and the cast is perfectly picked.
Those who like this should look into "life with father", 'Belles on their toes', and 'I remember Mama'.
