Review of Meet Joe Black (1998) by David R — 03 Apr 2014
This is a love story/fantasy movie along the lines of "Heaven Can Wait", without the comedy element in that movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and have watched it several times on DirecTV. Of particular interest is the performance of Claire Forlaini, which is one of the most nuanced and emotional performances I have ever seen from an actress.
I think she deserved more recognition; at least an academy award nomination. I don't get all the criticism.
