Derivative, dull, unfunny, and contrived. Its a shame because I liked Eckhart in the Dark Knight and Thank You for Smoking, however, here he is playing against type in a poor script and it really shows.
Its clear that Meet Bill was a concious effort to rip-off American Beauty, however, its so overly contrived that the motivation of the characters is completely illogical and the whole thing falls to pieces.
Utter dreck - avoid!
