Although Meet Bill carries a great cast, the plot is so overused and weak that it fails to come off as the "comedy" it sells itself as. Being very monotonous and lacking in character development, it is a struggle to become part of the movie or even care what happens to the protagonist.
"Meet Bill" is, ironically, a perfect title for the movie as that is all that's achieved; meeting Bill. Nothing else happens from then.
