Review of Meek's Cutoff (2011) by Lance D — 02 May 2011
Believably portrays the hardships facing those willing to take on the Oregon Trail from an interesting, and refreshingly, female perspective. The film is also shot in a satisfyingly surreal manner thanks to the beautifully creepy soundtrack and meditative pace.
It's too bad that the director forgot to film the beginning and end again (see also: Wendy and Lucy).
