Loved it! If deliberate pacing and unresolved endings make you crazy, it's not for you. Me? I was riveted from the beginning. This appears to recreate life as it really was for pioneers trying to get to what they dreamed would be a better life.
No gratuitous violence or wild action sequences. Nor does dialogue fill every second. It seemed that the first ten minutes went by without a word being spoken, yet much was communicated. Not likely to be a box office smash, but thought provoking.
