Not for everyone. If you want to be entertained, watch Stagecoach. If you want a very thoughtful western film, watch this. Meek's Cutoff examines racism and feminism through a story about journeyman Stephen Meek leading a band of colonists through the western frontier trying to find the right path.
Minimalist filmmaking at its best, and Michelle Williams was excellent.
