Review of Mean Streets (1973) by Brock S — 14 Aug 2009
Oh yea people. The birth of modern cinema as we know it. This is the beginning of the Scorsese/De Niro domination of the silver screen with Keitel putting in an equaled bravado performance as charlie, the conflicted catholic mofioso in the works trying to save Johnny Boy(De Niro) from eternal damnation and a mafia beat down.
A landmark of 70's cinema. An absolute must see for film fans.
