Review of Mean Streets (1973) by Neeraj K — 22 May 2009
One of the most influential films of all time, and a definite precursor to the themes and emotions conveyed in his subsequent efforts. You can actually fully immerse yourself in every scene and from the opening credits on the soundtrack serves as a grand juxtaposition that only adds to the sensory stimulation.
You can also tell that Tarantino was largely influenced by this film.
