I enjoy scorsese but I had a hard time connecting with this one. maybe its because I don't know what its like to live in a close-knit neighborhood like little italy in the 70's. I would have given up on johnny boy long before charlie did.
what a dead beat. plus how funny is it that everyone settles their differences with fistfights instead of guns? you just don't see that anymore. plus the boobs. i'm no expert but you just don't see those pointy 70's boobs anymore.
I think they've become extinct along with the term "mook".
