Review of Mean Streets (1973) by Corey P — 16 Nov 2009
A bit disappointing. While interesting as a study of Scorsese's development, and while initially they are setting up strong characters, I gradually became less interested in them, largely thanks to little to no backbone spurring the film forward, it felt like it could have ended at any moment after the first 70 minutes.
