Review of Mean Streets (1973) by Rafael M — 31 Dec 2012
I don't get what all the hype's about it's no Taxi Driver! A rather slow film, though it's still very nice due to the fine acting and screenplay that amount to a gritty, realistic portrayal of street-level gang-life in New York circa 1973.
Still, that ending was very anticlimactic and ultimately unsatisfying.
