Review of Mean Girls (2004) by Trevor R — 08 Apr 2013
Good performances from Lohan and McAdams help redeem a script that is often as mean spirited as the characters it attempts to satirize. There's funny moments, but it falls apart at the end with a cliched bit of speechifying by writer Fey.
Well-intentioned, but not nearly as clever or original as this kind of material needs to be.
