Mean Girls is a classic movie everyone should watch, this is not a movie for just teens, but adults as well. Cady is a transfer student and is asked to join the popular group; the plastics. Cady has other friends; Janice and Damion. They tell Cady to join the plastics to spy on and exploit them. After hanging out with them for several weeks, she turns into a plastic. Janice and Damion then get tired of dealing with Cady being fake and stop talking to her. Although Mean Girls is an amazing movie, the ending was typical. The major conflicts are Cady turning into a plastic and turning on her true friends; Janice and Damion. The theme of mean girls is dont try to fit in, embrace who you are. The movie teaches a lot about life. The movie teaches about the true meaaning of friends and on how you shouldnt turn on the true friends. Mean Girls is meant to entertain and teach lessons. The director expresses the theme by showing what happens when you dont express yourself. There are many technical elements to the movie. The visual appearance is very relatable. Nothing very exciting about the camera works. They were basic shots; long, medium, close up, etc. The set design was really relateable, especially the costumes. The lighitng is avergae, something you would find in a school film. The sound and music goes perfectly with what was happening. The music is a classic, everyone should watch this movie because it describes what high school is about. This is one of most accurate movies related to high school.
