It may not be fair to give this movie such a low rating. with rich material and masterful precedents like Stand By Me, the movie, and Lord of the Flies, the novel, my expectations were high. I felt the movie was predictable from the beggining, the heavy emotions went on too long without a break, and the ending, while a little different from what I expected, was just not that stunning.
